Con el fin de incentivar el uso adecuado del cond\u00f3n en todos los encuentros sexuales, el Consejo Estatal para la Prevenci\u00f3n y Control del Sida (Coesida), en coordinaci\u00f3n con la Secretar\u00eda de Turismo de Oaxaca (Sectur), Grupo de Apoyo \u201cAmemos VIHvir\u201d A.C. y Transverso, conmemoran el D\u00eda Internacional del Cond\u00f3n con diversas actividades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La directora general del Coesida, Gabriela Vel\u00e1squez Rosas, indic\u00f3 que es de suma importancia dicha conmemoraci\u00f3n, ya que el cond\u00f3n es un aliado esencial en la prevenci\u00f3n del Virus de Inmunodeficiencia Humana (VIH) y otras Infecciones de Transmisi\u00f3n Sexual (ITS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A trav\u00e9s de su programa \u201cDiversidad Sexual\u201d, el Consejo trabaj\u00f3 en conjunto con el titular de la Sectur, Juan Carlos Rivera Castellanos, para brindar material de prevenci\u00f3n a 16 empresas tur\u00edsticas catalogadas como \u201cEmpresas Incluyentes LGBTTTIQ\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por lo anterior, el encargado del programa y capacitador del Coesida, Francisco Contreras M\u00e9ndez, mencion\u00f3 que el cond\u00f3n no estropea los encuentros sexuales, por el contrario, si se aprende a utilizar de manera correcta, tanto en los encuentros ocasionales, como en los habituales, no s\u00f3lo puede evitar un embarazo no planeado, sino que adem\u00e1s previene ITS como el VIH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por su parte, las Organizaciones de Sociedad Civil (OSC) Transverso A.C. y el Grupo de Apoyo \u201cAmemos VIHvir\u201d A.C., las cuales han trabajado de la mano con el Coesida en temas de prevenci\u00f3n, har\u00e1n entrega de condones a la poblaci\u00f3n en general con el fin de hacer conciencia sobre la importancia de su uso en todos los encuentros sexuales (anales, vaginales u orales).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vel\u00e1squez Rosas puntualiz\u00f3 que para dichos eventos, se brindaron un total de 17 mil condones, de los cuales, 13 mil se destinaron a las \u201cEmpresas Incluyentes LGBTTTIQ\u201d y otros cuatro mil a las OSC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La tambi\u00e9n responsable del Programa Estatal de VIH\/Sida, exhort\u00f3 a toda la poblaci\u00f3n a hacer uso correcto del cond\u00f3n, con el fin de evitar la transmisi\u00f3n del VIH, S\u00edfilis, Hepatitis \u201cC\u201d u otras ITS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cabe recalcar que dicha conmemoraci\u00f3n fue propuesta y establecida en el a\u00f1o 2012 por la Fundaci\u00f3n para el Cuidado del Sida (AIDS Healthcare Foundation) y es acogida en m\u00e1s de 31 pa\u00edses, incluido M\u00e9xico.
